The Problem

Subsurface water flow can create unstable or undesirable slope stabilization conditions in cut slope and fill slope applications. Cut slopes can intercept groundwater tables and seepage through the slope face which can cause surface erosion and sloughing. Fill slopes can effectively dam subsurface water if the material is less permeable than the slope material, increasing the seepage forces in the slope and decreasing stability. 

 

The Solution

 

 

      SITEDRAIN Sheet DS-90 Series is designed for cut slope and fill slope drain applications where moderate compressive strength and flow capacity are desired. The dimple side of the drain is oriented such that it intercepts the primary direction of water flow.
         
      SITEDRAIN DS-180 Series is designed for cut slope and fill slope drain applications requiring an increased compressive strength and increased flow capacity.  The dimple side of the drain is oriented such that it intercepts the primary direction of water flow.

SITEDRAIN engineered geocomposite drainage products provide predictable high performance subsurface cut slope and fill slope drain systems to intercept and redirect subsurface flow.  The formed, polymer core and bonded geotextile retain soil particles while allowing water to freely enter the drainage core and convey to designated outlets.
