SHEET DRAINS-SINGLE SIDED More Details Related Applications

Sheet Drains for single side drainage applications are prefabricated products that consist of a solid, formed, three dimensional core covered with a geotextile filter fabric bonded to the dimple side of the core. The filter fabric is securely bonded to prevent soil intrusion into the core flow channel while allowing water to freely enter the drainage core. Sheet drains solid cores allow water entry from one side and are typically used to collect and re-direct water from a structure or site. Sheet drains are designed for use in both vertical and horizontal drainage applications. Designed to provide full drainage for large surface areas, sheet drains are constructed to various strength, flow and soil filtration requirements for a wide range of construction applications. Sheet drains collect and transport significantly more water than aggregate systems and are constructed using recycled materials providing a sustainable, cost effective drainage alternative. Sheet drains are available in 4' (1.2m) wide sheets in rolls 50'(16m) long. The core height is 1/4” or 1/2" (6-12mm) thick and provides flow capacities ranging from 9 – 21 gpm per foot of width.
SHEET DRAINS-DOUBLE SIDED More Details Related Applications

Sheet Drains for double sided drainage applications are prefabricated products that consist of a perforated and formed, three dimensional core covered with a geotextile filter fabric bonded to both sides. The filter fabric is securely bonded to prevent soil intrusion into the core flow channel while allowing water to freely enter the drainage channel. Sheet drains with perforated cores are designed to allow water entry from both sides and are typically used to collect and re-direct water from a site or structure. Sheet drains are designed for use in both vertical and horizontal drainage applications. CHIMNEY DRAINS More Details Related Applications

Chimney Drains are designed to save installation time and labor costs without compromising structural drainage requirements-specifically for applications where full sheet drainage is not required or is not feasible. Chimney drains are typically installed at spaced intervals in vertical wall applications as a value engineering solution to relieve hydrostatic pressure or to enhance installation ease for applications with multiple weeps or detail requirements. Chimney drains are constructed with a solid, formed polymeric core that is fully wrapped with a nonwoven filter fabric. The fabric retains soil particles while allowing water to freely enter the flow channel from one side. Due to the fabric construction, contractors save time and money in installation labor. Chimney drains are available in two compressive strengths: 9,000 or 18,000 psf in 12” – 18” or 24” wide rolls 100' long. The core height is 1/4” or 1/2" (6-12 mm) thick and provides flow capacities ranging from 9 – 21 gpm per foot of width.
GREEN ROOF & PLANTERS More Details Related Applications

AMERGREEN prefabricated drains are designed specifically for green roof and commercial planter drainage applications. As engineers and architects move toward sustainable design, developing products to meet these requirements are essential. With the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) national rating system in place, AWD prefabricated drains can contribute LEED points for storm-water management and recycled material content. AMERGREEN incorporates critical design criteria required for intensive or extensive green roofs and commercial planter drainage solutions in a lightweight, easy to install, cost efficient design. Drains are typically made in 4'(1.2m) wide sheets in rolls 50’ (16m) long. The core height is 0.44” or 1.0" (11-25mm) thick. Most sheet drains also serve as protection for waterproofing material, thereby eliminating the cost of a separate protection board. AMERGREEN 50 / 100 products provide a physical root barrier to prevent or minimize root penetration by plantings with low-to-moderately aggressive root structures. AMERGREEN 50RS / 100RS products provide a treated root barrier to prevent or minimize root penetration by plantings with moderate-to-highly aggressive root structures. AMERGREEN Planter drain products are designed specifically for commercial planter applications.
STRIP DRAINS More Details Related Applications

Strip drains are prefabricated drains that consist of a high-profile, perforated, three-dimensional core that is fully wrapped with a filter fabric. The filter fabric is securely bonded to prevent soil intrusion into the core flow channel while allowing water to freely enter the drainage channel. Strip drains function as a direct replacement for perforated pipe and stone drainage systems. The high water collection and flow capacity allow strip drains to be used alone or as the transportation system for sheet drains. Typical applications are basement footers, lawns and yards, golf courses, athletic fields, and edge and curb drains. Strip drains are available in 6-12-18-24 & 36"(150-1000mm) widths in rolls 150’ or 500' (16-150m) long. The core is manufactured at a thickness of 1"(25mm). Strip drains are a sustainable, cost effective, performance driven alternative to pipe and aggregate drainage systems.
COMBINATION DRAINS More Details Related Applications

Combination drains are constructed using a patented, formed core designed specifically to transition water collected from sheet drains into a high-flow collection system. The graduated, molded core has a filter fabric bonded to one side and prevents soil intrusion into the flow channels. Combination drains function as a direct replacement to costly perrforated pipe and stone systems. By design, they are equipped to handle the water volume generated by prefabricated sheet drains. more efficiently than perforated pipe and stone systems. While pipe and stone has can prevent the evacuation of water against structural walls, combination drains eliminates any delays by increasing the flow capacity at the base of the system. The result is a highly effective, sustainable, cost-effective system. Combination drains may be used alone or as a collection section with sheet drains. Combination drains are manufactured in rolls 2' x 50' rolls.
VERTICAL WICK DRAINS More Details Related Applications

AMERDRAIN Wick drain is a special purpose strip drain used for consolidation of soft, compressible soils. The drain is manufactured at 4"(100mm) wide, 1/8-1/4"(3-6mm) thick, and made in 1000'(300m) rolls. Vertical drains are also called wick drains, band drains, or PVD drains.
